Rheem Singapore Grand Prix 2015 Southern Plumbing Plus Albury Wodonga

When Graham (Blue) Lawson’s phone rang just two weeks into his eight week 4WD tour of Western Australia and the Northern Territory, he had no idea he’d just won Rheem’s fully inclusive trip to Singapore for the 2015 Grand Prix.

It goes to show that buying a few Rheem units during our competition has paid off.

Later this week the owner of Town and Country Plumbing in Albury is heading to Singapore to enjoy a long weekend of racing, entertainment and local culture.

Happy he’s picked up the major prize? Well, given Blue is an avid Holden Racing Team supporter and enjoys everything motor sports, he was pretty chuffed at the winning! He’ll be batting for Daniel Ricardo and the team in Singapore.

This will be Blue’s first overseas grand prix, but he’s no stranger to cars, having attended the Bathurst 1000 a whopping 23 times. For the first time in years, he’ll be giving Bathurst a miss, but has recently added the Deni Ute Muster to the social calendar.

This plumbing legend is definitely taking 2015 to a high point – we can’t keep up! But given Blue is celebrating his 49th year of plumbing it’s time to celebrate and we wouldn’t expect anything less.

Also attending from Southern Plumbing this weekend is Pat Read, Sales Manager - Trade, and Matt Howard, Albury Trade Store Manager, who just so happens to come from the same town as Blue. In fact, Blue remembers Matt as a kid and seeing him complete his plumbing apprenticeship Tallangatta.

It sounds like the guys are going to have a ball of a time in Singapore this weekend and we’re looking forward to sharing a few photos with you next week.

Thanks to all our customers who entered the competition, and to Rheem for putting it on.
